What do you use your tablet for? Aside from when my phone goes flat and I end up using it as a big phone, my Pixel C gets utilised in quite different ways to my phone (currently a Honor 8). The list of apps installed reflects this - lots of media apps (iPlayer, ITV Player, Sky Go, Plex et al), a number of writing apps (IA Writer, Evernote etc.), the Kindle app for if I want to read but don't have my actual kindle and also the most used app on my tablet... Readly.
In my opinion, one of the things that Android tablets are best at is reading magazines. Big, bright, high resolution touchscreens are ideal, the only downside is that buying magazines can get expensive. Readly applies a model we've seen elsewhere to solve this issue. Think Spotify or Netflix, all you can eat media, but applied to magazines. It's fantastic.
The £7.99/month subscription (with the first month free), gives you access not only for yourself, but for 4 other users too. This means I can use it on my tablet, but also give my wife and daughter access on their tablets too. And my Mum. And Dad. Pretty crazy for the price! The range of magazines is incredibly impressive too, literally all the magazines I regularly read (Autocar, Autosport, Linux User and Developer, Gadget, a couple of cooking magazines too) are on there so I really am totally satisfied. Readly is available on Android, iOS and Windows, so whichever device you use, you'll be covered.
Sounds too good to be true? I know, but trust me on this one. Head on over to Readly for your free trial.
